DOs and DON’Ts of Neon

I know the neon trend seems a bit daunting, but it's actually a lot easier to pull off than it seems as long as you follow these simple rules: 

DO:
Keep It Simple- Pair your neon with neutrals so that you don't look like an extra from an 80's music video.
Accessorize!- Neon accessories add the perfect pop of color to any outfit.
Be color conscious- Make sure to pick a hue that will compliment your skin tone.
Take baby steps-This trend can be intimidating, so if you are feeling shy about wearing something so bright, start slow! Add in a neon bag or necklace until you are more comfortable with all of the color.

DON'T:
Never go full neon!- Bright clothing + Bright accessories + Bright makeup = A big ol' mess
Colorblock opposing neons.
Wear neon pieces with a lot of detailing.- It's a little much.
Be afraid to try something new!- Why not have a little flouro-fun?
